The PayOrPoints calculator is designed to work without an account. If you contact us (for example, by email), you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

Open source and contributions

PayOrPoints may release components under open-source licenses. Your use of those components is subject to their respective licenses. If you submit contributions, you agree that we may use them under the applicable project license.

Third‑party services

The Services may link to or rely on third‑party services (e.g., official VA/DFAS resources or analytics providers). Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.

Beta and experimental features

Certain features may be released as beta or experimental. They are provided “as is” without warranties and may change or be discontinued at any time.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PayOrPoints and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Services.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold PayOrPoints and its affiliates harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for any reason, including if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to PayOrPoints, without regard to conflict of law principles. Venue and jurisdiction will be in a competent court where PayOrPoints operates.

Export control and sanctions

You represent that you are not subject to sanctions or restrictions and will not use the Services in violation of export control, sanctions, or anti‑boycott laws. You will not use the Services in embargoed jurisdictions or for prohibited end uses.

Official status and professional advice

PayOrPoints is an informational calculator and is not an official VA website. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice. Your eligibility, recoupment, and pay outcomes may vary based on your circumstances and applicable rules.

Force majeure

PayOrPoints will not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of nature, labor disputes, network failures, or third‑party service outages.

Assignment and severability

You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization or transfer. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll revise the Last updated date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.
